Moonlight Lodge is in Swarland, just off the A1. It's a detached lodge for two people.
There are two bedrooms and a bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's in good order.
The best part is probably the hot tub out the back. It's fairly private and you’re looking into the trees. You might see some squirrels. The side decking is a good spot in the evening.
Inside, it's open plan. There's a corner sofa that reclines and an electric fire. The TV has the usual streaming services. Wi-Fi is included. There's a washing machine and parking right outside.
You can bring one dog. There's a kids' play area on the park if you need it, but the lodge itself is really for two.
The site has a small bar next to the golf course. You can walk straight into the woods from the door.
It's a handy spot for getting around. Alnwick is about ten minutes north. The castle is there, and it's got shops and cafes. National Trust Alnwick Castle.
Morpeth is a few miles south. It's a nice town for a wander, with riverside walks and an old shopping arcade.
The coast is about twenty minutes east. Craster, Seahouses, and Amble are all along there. Good for beaches and fish and chips. Amble has a Sunday market.
