Oak Cottage
Oak Cottage is near Rothbury in Northumberland. It's a barn conversion, one of three on the same site. The view from the front is over open fields.
It sleeps five. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. One of the bedrooms and a bathroom are on the ground floor. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.
The main room has big windows looking out at the fields. The ground floor bedroom has patio doors out to its own bit of patio. The stairs are normal, not a spiral or anything.
You're a couple of miles outside Rothbury village. It's a nice spot for a walk along the River Coquet or up to the Simonside Hills. For a big day out, you're not far from the Northumberland National Park. The coast is about half an hour's drive. Alnwick is 20 minutes away, so you can see the castle or the gardens.
The place has Wi-Fi, a dishwasher, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair. Sorry, no pets.
