Cowslip Cottage

Cowslip Cottage is in Felton, a village just off the A1. It's on one level, which is useful. Sleeps four in two bedrooms. One bathroom. You can bring two dogs.

It's a 5 Star place, which means it's well looked after. The ceilings are low and beamed in places, so mind your head. The wood burner works well. The garden is enclosed and gets the sun.

There's a pub and a good café a few minutes' walk away. The cottage has a washing machine, dishwasher, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. We leave a hamper with some basics to get you started.

You're about twenty minutes from the coast. Alnmouth and Warkworth are close. Alnwick Castle is ten minutes up the road. For a longer walk, the Northumberland National Park or sections of Hadrian's Wall are within half an hour. The National Trust looks after several castles and beaches along the coast if you're planning days out.
