Cowslip Cottage

Felton village is quiet. There's a good pub and a café about a seven minute walk away. Alnwick is about ten minutes' drive. The castle there is worth a visit. The coast at Alnmouth or Boulmer is about a fifteen minute drive.
For a longer day out, you can get to the beaches near Bamburgh or Craster in half an hour. Hadrian's Wall is about forty five minutes west. The traffic on the A1 is usually fine.
