Robins Nest is in Broomhill, which is near Amble in Northumberland. It's a first floor apartment in a detached block. You get the side garden to yourselves, which is enclosed.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean rather than luxurious. It's a well-planned space.
The local pub is about 350 yards away, and they serve food. There's a shop and a restaurant about a mile away. For the beach, you're about three miles from the coast at Amble. The Northumberland Coast is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with really good sandy beaches.
Amble town is about three miles. It's a friendly seaside place. There's a good ice cream parlour, a Sunday market, and little fish restaurants by the harbour. You can get boat trips from there over to Coquet Island, which is an RSPB bird sanctuary.
Warkworth village is also about three miles. It's got a great castle on the hill, some cafes and pubs, and a couple of nice little shops. Alnwick is a few miles further. That's where Alnwick Castle and the Alnwick Garden are, with the treehouse restaurant.
You're well placed for the rest of Northumberland. The Northumberland National Park and Hadrian's Wall are within an hour or so for a day out. Newcastle is also about an hour's drive if you want a city trip.
Facilities: there's parking, WiFi, a TV, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. The garden has seating. No pets, sorry.
