Robins Nest
Robins Nest is a first floor apartment in Broomhill. It's detached, so you're on your own up there. You can see the rooftops and fields from the windows. There's a side garden with seating that's just for you.
It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. One bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean, but not luxurious. Everything you need is there.
The local pub is about 350 yards down the road. They do food. A shop is about a mile away. The coast at Amble is three miles. It's a nice little town with a harbour, shops, and some fish restaurants. Their Sunday market is good. There's a famous ice cream parlour there too.
Warkworth village is three miles the other way. It's got a castle on the hill, some nice cafes, and a few little shops. It's worth a look.
For a bigger day out, Alnwick is about ten miles. The castle and the water gardens there are impressive. The treehouse restaurant is something else.
You're on the edge of the Heritage Coastline. There are miles of sandy beaches and good walks right from Amble. For planning walks, the Northumberland National Park site is useful. The Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty site has information too.
Inside, it's got a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Parking is on site. There's also storage if you bring bikes. No pets, sorry.
