Katy's No 6 is a ground floor apartment in Amble. It's a 4 Star, which feels about right. It's comfortable and clean.
It sleeps three in two bedrooms. The main bedroom has a big mahogany bed, which was made locally. There's a safe in the wardrobe. The bathroom has a shower. Everything is on one level, which is handy.
You're very close to the centre of Amble. It's a five minute walk to the harbour and the marina. There's a good Sunday market there for fresh food. The town has butchers, bakers, a supermarket, and the usual shops. There are restaurants along the harbour front. The community here is nice.
You can walk to Warkworth along the river. It's about two miles. Warkworth has a great castle and some good pubs.
For a day out, Alnwick is about twenty minutes by car. The castle and gardens are worth seeing. From there, the coast north is really good. Craster is famous for kippers. You can walk from Craster to Dunstanburgh Castle along the cliff path. Seahouses is further up, and Holy Island is about an hour's drive, but you have to check the tide times.
The apartment has a washing machine, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a small enclosed patio area out the back. There's no garden as such, but it's private. No pets, sorry.
