This is Harbour House in Amble. It's a semi-detached place on a street near the harbour.
It's got two bedrooms and sleeps four. One bedroom is a kingsize, the other is twin beds. There's one bathroom. It has a 4 Star rating, which means it's well-put-together and comfortable.
You're about a minute's walk from the harbour. There's a good ice cream shop there, and you can get boat trips out to Coquet Island to see the puffins. The beach is a couple of hundred yards away. There's a shop very close by, and a pub and a restaurant are effectively round the corner.
The garden is enclosed, which is handy if you've got a dog. We accept one well-behaved pet.
For facilities, you've got the normal things: a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking on site. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them.
Warkworth is a short drive south. It's got a great castle on the hill above the river. Alnmouth is a bit further along; it's pretty, with a golf course along the estuary. Alnwick Castle and its gardens are about nine miles inland.
If you drive north for about half an hour, you get to places like Craster, Seahouses, and Bamburgh. The beaches up there are huge. Newcastle is about fifty minutes south if you need a city day.
