Druridge Hideout

Druridge Hideout is on a little green in Hadston. It's one of a row of houses, but it's quiet. The back garden is fully enclosed, which is good if you have kids or a dog.

It was all done up in 2022. Sleeps six but there are two bedrooms. One's a king, the other's got two bunks, so it's a proper family room. There's one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's in good nick. The stairs are fine.

You're about a ten minute walk from Druridge Bay Country Park. The beach is all sand dunes, really long. It's good for a run with the dog or a windy walk. The lake in the country park does sailing and windsurfing if that's your thing.

The hot tub is out the back on a deck. It's there if you want it. The garden's got a table and chairs too.

Amble's about three miles up the road. It's a working harbour. You can get boat trips from there to see the puffins on Coquet Island. Morpeth is inland, about nine miles, good for shops. Alnwick Castle and the famous gardens are maybe a 20 minute drive.

It's a straightforward place. Washing machine, WiFi, TV, all the bedding is included. You can bring one dog. Parking is on the street outside.

If you're planning walks or days out, these are useful: Druridge Bay Country Park and Northumberland Coast AONB. For the wider area, Visit Northumberland has good information.
