Scotswood

Scotswood is a flat in Amble. It's on the ground floor. It's for two people, one bedroom, one bathroom. No pets.

We renovated it last year. It's clean and everything works. It's got a 4 Star rating. The front windows have special glass so it's quiet, even though you're in the town.

You're a few minutes' walk from the harbour. There's a shop about 500 yards away and a pub even closer. The harbour has a market on Sundays and you can get boat trips out to Coquet Island from there. There are two good fish and chip shops.

You can walk to Warkworth along the river. It's about a mile and a half. The castle there is worth seeing. It's managed by English Heritage.

In the other direction, Alnwick is about a 20-minute drive. The castle and gardens are the main attraction. The beach at Alnmouth is nice too, and that's about 15 minutes away.

For facilities, you've got a dishwasher, WiFi, TV, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. There's a locked garage round the back if you bring bikes or kayaks.
