Island View is a terraced house at the end of a row in Amble. It looks out over The Links towards Coquet Island. It feels quite spacious inside.
It sleeps five. There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. You can bring two dogs.
You're a short walk from the middle of Amble. The town has a harbour and a marina. There's a sandy beach. They call it the friendliest port, and it does have a good feel to it. There's a fish restaurant by the lifeboat house and a good ice cream place. The Sunday market on the harbour is nice.
Coquet Island is right out in the bay. It's an RSPB bird sanctuary. You can see puffins from the boat trips that go from the harbour.
Warkworth village is two miles away. It's got a castle on the hill, a few pubs, and walks along the river. Alnwick Castle is about half an hour's drive. That's the one from the Harry Potter films. The gardens there are impressive.
The coast north of Amble is really nice. It's a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with long beaches and dunes. There are plenty of paths for walking.
The house has a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Parking is on street, outside the house.
