Little Woodlands
Little Woodlands is ours, but it's a separate little house at the end of our garden. It's detached. You get the bit of patio out the front to yourselves, and it's fully enclosed.
It sleeps three. One bedroom with a double bed and a single up in the eaves. One bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable. The stairs up to the bedroom are quite steep. That's the main thing to know.
You're in Alnmouth. It's a five minute walk to the main street with the pubs and the little shop. The beach is about the same, maybe ten minutes if you're slow. It's a good, long, sandy beach.
Alnwick is a ten minute drive. That's where the castle is. The Alnwick Castle website has all the details. Warkworth Castle is about fifteen minutes south. Further up the coast, Bamburgh has its castle right on the sea. The Northumberland National Park is inland if you fancy a change from the coast.
Facilities: it's all open plan downstairs. There's a TV, WiFi, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right next to the cottage. You can bring up to two dogs. The garden is ours, but you have your own separate entrance.
