Salar's Rest is on a quiet cul-de-sac in Alnmouth. It's an end of terrace house, built in 2012, so it's modern inside. It sleeps eight, with four bedrooms and four bathrooms. The garden is a good size and it's enclosed.
The house has a 5 Star rating. It's a luxury property, so everything is in good order. You get bedding and towels included. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking on the drive.
You're about a five minute walk from the beach and the estuary. The village itself is small and quiet, with a couple of shops and pubs. The local pubs serve food. There's a golf course here, the oldest 9-hole links in England.
For a bigger day out, Alnwick is about a ten minute drive. The castle and the gardens are worth a visit. National Trust Alnwick has information. Warkworth, with its castle ruins, is a couple of miles south. You can walk there along the coast if you want.
Further up the coast, Bamburgh is about twenty minutes by car. The castle there is impressive. The whole coastline is part of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, so there's plenty of walking. Northumberland Coast National Landscape is the place for maps and routes.
No pets, sorry. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them.
