The Beeches is a lodge near Warkworth in Northumberland. It's Scandinavian style, which basically means it's a big wooden cabin with a high ceiling in the living area. It's detached and sat in the grounds of a place called Eastfield Hall.
It sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. One double has an ensuite shower. Another room has a kingsize bed and a single day bed in it, then there's a separate single bedroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's well-equipped.
The place is very open plan. The kitchen, dining and sitting area are all one space. There's a conservatory off the back which is a nice spot to sit. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you have dogs or kids. It's just a lawn with some rattan furniture and sun loungers.
You're right out in the countryside here. You can walk from the door into the fields. The nearest shop and pub is about two miles away in Warkworth. Warkworth has a few pubs, some cafes, and the castle. The coast is about three miles. Druridge Bay is close, or you can go up to Alnmouth or Bamburgh.
You're well placed for exploring. Alnwick Castle and its gardens are about a 20 minute drive. Bamburgh Castle is maybe 40 minutes. The Farne Islands boat trips leave from Seahouses. If you like walking, you can pick up the Northumberland Coast Path easily.
Inside, it's got what you'd need: a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. The fire is electric but looks like a log burner. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two pets. There's parking right outside.
