The Beeches

The Beeches is a lodge in Low Buston. It's up a private driveway on the grounds of Eastfield Hall. It's a modern, Scandinavian-style build, so it's quite light and open inside with high ceilings. It's detached and you get the whole garden to yourselves. It's fully enclosed, which is good for dogs or kids.

It sleeps six. There are three bedrooms. One double with an en-suite shower room, one room with a king-size and a single day bed, and a single room. There's also a family bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.

The kitchen has what you need, including a dishwasher and a washing machine. The living area has a TV and a log-effect fire for cooler evenings. There's also a conservatory you can sit in. We've left some books and games. The WiFi usually works fine.

You're about two miles from a shop and a couple of pubs. The village of Warkworth is a few minutes' drive. It's nice, has a good cafe, and the castle is very impressive. The coast at Alnmouth or Druridge Bay is about ten to fifteen minutes away by car.

You can walk straight from the door into the countryside. For bigger days out, Alnwick Castle and Gardens are about twenty minutes away. Craster and Dunstanburgh Castle are maybe half an hour up the coast. The Northumberland National Park and Hadrian's Wall are about a forty-five minute drive inland.

Two well-behaved dogs are welcome. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking for a couple of cars right outside.
