The Workshop is in Hampeth, Northumberland. It's a detached cottage on our smallholding. You've got 22 acres to walk around, with ponds and streams. There are donkeys, mules, and sheep here.
It sleeps two, in one bedroom. The bed is a super kingsize zip and link. It's all on one level, which is handy. There's one bathroom with a shower.
The cottage has a 4 Star rating. It's got character, with beamed ceilings and stone floors. The living area is open plan. The kitchen is traditional and well-equipped if you want to cook.
Outside there's a fully enclosed, south-facing lawned garden with seating. It's a quiet spot. Parking is on site, and there's an electric vehicle charger.
You're just off the A1, so getting around is straightforward. There's a good pub and restaurant about a mile away in Newton-on-the-Moor.
Alnwick is only a few minutes' drive. That's where the castle is. The Northumberland coast is about a 20-minute drive. You've got miles of beaches and castles like Alnwick, Warkworth, and Bamburgh. Heading west, you can get to Hadrian's Wall in under half an hour.
Facilities include a washing machine, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We allow up to two pets.
