Framlington Corner is a wooden holiday lodge we built in 2018. It's down a quiet lane on the edge of Longframlington village. You get the place to yourselves, it's detached. It faces south so it's bright, and there are decks outside.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well equipped and finished to a high standard. Everything is on one level and the entrance is wheelchair accessible. The doors are wide, but the turning space inside is standard.
The village is about a 15 minute walk away. There's a good butchers, a bakery, a couple of pub restaurants and a shop. It's useful.
Rothbury is a 10 minute drive. Alnwick and Morpeth are about 20 minutes. Alnwick has the castle and gardens, and Barter Books in the old station is worth a visit. The coast at Alnmouth or Warkworth is roughly half an hour by car.
If you like walking, you're straight into countryside from the lane. For longer trips, the beaches and castles along the coast are good, or you can drive inland to Kielder Water.
Facilities: it has a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. Parking is right there. No pets.
