Todburn East
Todburn East is up at Wingates near Morpeth. It's a detached house, quite big and spread out. Most of it's on the ground floor which is handy. The views from here are really good, just open fields.
It sleeps eight people. Four bedrooms and three bathrooms, so there's enough space for everyone to not be on top of each other. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean.
The garden is fully enclosed. There's a big bit, about 90 square metres, that's fenced off specially if you've got dogs. You can bring two.
It's quiet here, but you're only two minutes from the A697 so getting about is easy. There's a footpath right by the house called the Devils Causeway if you want a walk from the door. The owners run a riding school next door, but you wouldn't really know unless you saw the horses.
Inside, there's a conservatory with some chairs in it. It's a nice spot to sit and look out at the view.
For things to do, you're well placed. Rothbury is about eight miles. It's a nice town on the river. The National Trust's Cragside is just outside Rothbury and it's worth a visit. Alnwick Castle is about fifteen miles. The coast at Druridge Bay is a similar drive. If you go the other way, towards Otterburn, you can get into the Northumberland International Dark Sky Park. Kielder Water is up there too.
The village of Longhorsley is a couple of miles away. It has a shop and a pub. Morpeth is about nine miles if you need more shops or a swimming pool.
What's here: parking, wifi, TV, a wood burner, dishwasher, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We can put up a cot and highchair if you need them.
