Yolo Retreat is a lodge near Burgham, just off the A1. It's detached on a quiet part of a 40-acre park. There's a lake on site with swans.
It sleeps four people in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which is good. Everything's clean and in decent order. You can bring one dog.
The main thing is the hot tub. It's private, tucked around the back of the raised deck. It's there, it's yours to use.
There's a restaurant and café on the park itself, about two minutes' walk away. They do meals. Morpeth is a short drive south. It's a nice market town with shops and places to eat. Alnwick is north, maybe 15 minutes. That's where Alnwick Castle is. They've got the gardens and the broomstick lessons from Harry Potter.
The coast is easy to get to. Warkworth has a big castle on the hill and a river. There are beaches all along there.
If you want to go inland, you're well placed for it. Hadrian's Wall is under an hour west. Kielder Water and Forest is about the same, if you want really dark skies. Rothbury and the Simonside Hills are closer, maybe half an hour.
Facilities: it's open plan inside. There's a TV, WiFi, and parking right by the lodge. The patio has garden furniture. Bedding and towels are included.
