The Cockles is a detached place on our smallholding in Ulgham. We've got horses. It's just for two people, one bedroom and one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean but not luxury.
What you get is the whole building and the decking area that wraps around it. It gets the sun in the afternoon. Good spot to sit out. You can park right next to it.
Inside it's all open plan. There's a kitchen area, a table, and the sitting space. The bathroom has a shower. We've put in a washing machine and a dishwasher. There's WiFi and a TV. Bedding and towels are included.
You can bring one dog. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them.
Location wise, it's country lanes here. You're three miles from Morpeth, which has shops, pubs, and a market. The coast is about eight miles east. Druridge Bay is there, which is a long, good beach for walks.
From here you can get to a lot. Alnwick Castle is about half an hour north. The Northumberland coast up towards Bamburgh and Holy Island is maybe forty minutes. Newcastle is twenty miles south for a city day. Hadrian's Wall and the Northumberland National Park are under an hour's drive.
