Millside Morpeth

Millside is in Morpeth town centre. It's a semi-detached house, right behind the high street. You can hear the river from the garden. The parking is private, right in front of the house.

It sleeps five in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, which means it's comfortable and well looked after.

You're a couple of minutes' walk from everything. The high street has cafes, pubs, and some good independent shops. There's a weekly market. The Chantry has the Bagpipe Museum and tourist information. You can hire a rowing boat on the river, or just go for a walk along it.

The coast is about a twenty minute drive. You've got beaches like Druridge Bay. Craster is famous for kippers. Bamburgh Castle is further up. Holy Island is accessible when the tide is out, but you must check the crossing times.

Morpeth train station is handy. You can get to Newcastle in about twenty minutes. Durham, Edinburgh, and York are all doable for a day trip if you don't mind the travel.

For wider exploring, Hadrian's Wall is under an hour's drive. So is the Northumberland National Park. Alnwick Castle and Gardens are about half an hour away.

At the house, you've got a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. There's a cot and highchair if needed. Bedding and towels are included. The garden is enclosed. Sorry, no pets.
