The Hidden Cottage is in Morpeth, just off the main street. It's a two-up-two-down, sleeps four, with two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable.
The cottage is on a small square. It's quiet, but you're a minute's walk from shops and pubs. There's a south-facing garden at the back. It gets the sun.
Inside, there's an old range cooker in the living room. It doesn't work, it's electric now, but it looks nice. The stairs are steep, like most old cottages. We've got space to store bikes securely if you bring them.
Morpeth is good for a wander. The river and Carlisle Park are nice. There's a sports centre with a pool about a ten-minute walk away. The bus and train stations are close if you don't want to drive.
You can get to a lot from here. The coast is about half an hour's drive. Places like Alnmouth and Bamburgh are good for beaches. Alnwick Castle and gardens are about twenty minutes north. Newcastle is maybe twenty-five minutes south.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking for one car out the back. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
