The Burrow is a glamping pod in Stakeford, Northumberland. It's on a small, quiet park next to the River Wansbeck and some woods. It sleeps two. One bedroom with a double bed, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The bed is a bit different, it's only got space to climb out from the bottom end.
The pod is modern inside. There's a small kitchen area, a shower, and WiFi. The front has bi-fold doors you can open right up. Outside, there's a raised deck with a gate, so it's secure for dogs. You get two dogs allowed.
The park is a local nature reserve. You'll see birds, maybe some deer or red squirrels. There's a café on site that's open every day. You can launch kayaks or paddle boards from a slipway nearby. Good for walking or cycling along the river.
The beach at Newbiggin-by-the-Sea is about four miles away. It's a sandy beach with a proper seaside feel. Morpeth, a market town, is ten minutes by car. They've got an indoor shopping arcade and some nice places to eat.
For a day out, you're close to the Northumberland Coast. Hadrian's Wall and Northumberland National Park are within half an hour's drive.
Facilities: bedding and towels are included. There's parking right next to the pod. TV. There's a shared kids' play area on the park.
