The Burrow is a glamping pod on Wansbeck Riverside Caravan Park. It's in Stakeford, which is inland, about four miles from the coast.
It's a detached pod. It sleeps two people. One bedroom with a double bed, and one bathroom with a shower. There's a small kitchen area and you can open the big front doors right up. It has a 4 Star rating.
The decking is raised and has a gate around it, so it's safe if you bring dogs. You can have two dogs. You get a view of the river from there.
The site is quiet. It's next to the Wansbeck Riverside Park Nature Reserve, so you'll see birds and squirrels. If you have a kayak or paddleboard, there's a slipway into the river nearby.
There's an on-site café that's open every day. A shop and a pub are a short walk away. For a beach, Newbiggin-by-the-Sea is four miles. It's a sandy beach.
Morpeth is a ten minute drive. It's a market town with shops. For a bigger day out, Northumberland National Park and the coast are within half an hour. Hadrian's Wall is about 40 minutes by car.
Facilities: there's parking right by the pod, WiFi, TV, bedding and towels are included, and there's a washing up area. There's a kids' play park on the caravan site.
