Seashells
Seashells is a ground floor apartment in Newbiggin by the Sea. It's on the main road, so there's some road noise, but you're out of the door and on the promenade in about two minutes.
It sleeps two, one bedroom, one bathroom with a shower. It's a 3 Star, so it's clean and comfortable but not luxurious. Everything's on one level.
You can bring one dog. There's parking right outside.
The beach is sandy and right there. There's a long promenade to walk along. The offshore sculpture, 'The Couple', is straight out from the front. There's an ice cream parlour on the front too. The local pub is a couple of minutes' walk away, and it does food. The shop is even closer.
Newbiggin itself is a small, quiet village. The Maritime Centre is worth a look if you're interested in the lifeboat history. The cliff top golf course is here too.
For a day out, Morpeth is about fifteen minutes inland. It's a nice market town with shops and cafes. Druridge Bay country park is a short drive south, good for a long beach walk. Heading north, you've got Alnwick Castle and the coastline around Craster and Dunstanburgh. Newcastle city centre is about half an hour by car if you want theatres or shopping.
Facilities are what you'd expect: TV, wifi, washing machine, bedding and towels are included. There's space to store bicycles.
