Dolphin Cottage
Dolphin Cottage is in Newbiggin by the Sea. It's the blue cottage a couple of rows back from the beach. You can see the sea from the front windows.
It sleeps five. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 3 Star place, so it's clean and comfortable. The stairs are steep, but it's fine.
The promenade and the sandy beach are a two minute walk away. You can see dolphins sometimes. There's a lifeboat station, they're a friendly crew, and a Maritime Centre with a cafe at the far end of the bay. You can get good ice cream by the bandstand.
The cottage has a small enclosed yard at the back. Inside there's a washing machine, Wi-Fi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. No pets I'm afraid.
For a day out, Alnwick Castle is about 25 miles away. The Northumberland National Park is good for walks, and Northumberland Coast National Landscape starts here. You can drive up to places like Bamburgh or Holy Island. Hadrian's Wall is less than an hour's drive.
