Sea Haven is on a quiet terraced street in Newbiggin by the Sea. It's about a two minute walk to the sea front and the beach.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, a double and a twin, and one bathroom. It was renovated a few years ago so it’s in good order. It’s got a 4 Star rating.
You can see the offshore sculpture, 'Ebb and Flo', right out in the bay. Sometimes you see dolphins or seals from the beach. There's an old Italian ice cream parlour on the promenade, it's been there since the 1950s.
The beach is sandy and good for rock pools. Druridge Bay is about three miles south, it's a long stretch of sand. The whole coast from there up is a Heritage Coastline.
Morpeth is nine miles west if you need bigger shops. Amble has a working harbour and a Sunday market, it's about a 20 minute drive. Newcastle is about 18 miles away, you can get a bus from nearby.
For history, there's Woodhorn Museum locally. Alnwick Castle and Gardens is about half an hour north by car. Hadrian's Wall is under an hour's drive inland.
It has a patio garden at the back. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. The entrance is wheelchair accessible. Sorry, no pets.
