Bertys Beach View

This is Bertys Beach View. It's in Newbiggin-by-the-Sea, right on the promenade. The building's a cafe and ice cream parlour, an old family business. The apartment is on the first and second floor above it.

It sleeps four with two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place. The main thing is the view. Big windows look straight out over the bay. You can sit and watch the sea all day. You get a voucher for a coffee and an ice cream from the cafe downstairs when you arrive.

The stairs inside are quite steep, it's an old building. One wall has some hand-painted art on it. There's a Smart TV.

You're right on the promenade when you step outside. It's a mile long for walking. The beach is 50 yards away. There's a local shop and a pub about the same distance. The village has a butcher, bakery, and a few places to eat. There's a golf course very close by.

Newbiggin itself is an old fishing village. You might see some of the boats, or if you're lucky, dolphins and seals. There's a statue out in the water called 'The Couple'.

For getting further out, Morpeth is about eight miles away for more shops. Alnwick Castle is within easy driving distance. The whole Northumberland coast is good for exploring. The bus stop is nearby if you want to go into Newcastle without the car.

Practical things: parking is on site. Bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine and WiFi. No pets.
