Bertys Beach View is in Newbiggin by the Sea in Northumberland. It's on the first and second floor above the Bertorelli family's cafe and ice cream parlour. They've run the place for generations. You get a great view straight out over the bay.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place. It's an old art deco building, so it's got its own character. The stairs are a typical building staircase.
You're right on the promenade. The beach is about 50 yards away. There's a butcher, greengrocer, and bakery in the village, along with a couple of restaurants and takeaways. The local pub is very close.
You get a voucher for a coffee and an ice cream from the cafe downstairs. They're homemade. You can sit in the big bay window and watch the boats, or look out at the statue in the sea. Sometimes you might see dolphins or seals.
There's a golf course about 500 yards away. Morpeth is eight miles inland for more shops. For bigger days out, Alnwick Castle isn't far. The whole Northumberland coast is good for walking.
