Beachcomber Cottage is in Newbiggin by the Sea. It's a two-up two-down terraced house, set a street back from the seafront.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's clean and comfortable. The washing machine is in the kitchen.
You can bring one dog. The yard out the back is fully enclosed, which is handy for that.
It's about a five minute walk to the beach. The promenade is good for a proper stretch. There's an ice cream place on the front, and a few pubs and a shop are very close.
Woodhorn Museum is just down the road. It's worth a look if you're into local history. For a bigger beach, Druridge Bay is about a twenty minute drive south. It's a lovely stretch.
If you want to go further, Morpeth is an easy drive for shopping. Alnwick Castle and its gardens are about half an hour north. Up the coast, Bamburgh Castle and Holy Island are within an hour. Hadrian's Wall is less than an hour west.
