Seaside Retreat
Seaside Retreat is an apartment, on the first floor. It's in Newbiggin by the Sea in Northumberland. The main thing is it's close to the sea, about 120 yards from the front. You get your own private front door on the street.
It sleeps four, with two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable, good value. It's not huge, but it's enough.
You're on a quiet street. The promenade is a mile long, good for a stroll. At one end there's a Maritime Centre. There's a sculpture out on the breakwater called 'Couple'. You might see the lifeboat out practising, or sometimes dolphins.
The town has what you need. A couple of restaurants, a craft ale bar, some pubs and cafes. There's a shop very close by. The local golf course looks over the sea.
If you want to explore, Morpeth is eight miles away for more shops. The coast north of here is very nice, it's an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Alnwick Castle is about 25 miles away, if that's your sort of thing.
For facilities, you've got a washing machine, TV, WiFi included. Bedding and towels are provided. Parking is on the street outside. No pets, sorry.
