Wellwood Cottage is in Morpeth, just off the main street. It's a terraced cottage, old townhouse style. There's a small patio garden at the back and private parking for one car, which is useful.
It sleeps three. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. The bathroom has a walk-in shower with a seat and grab rails. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable. Everything's on one level except for the stairs up to the front door, which are a bit steep.
You're a couple of minutes' walk from the town centre. There are pubs, shops, and places to eat. Carlisle Park is nice for a stroll by the river.
It's a good spot for getting out. The coast is about half an hour's drive. Places like Alnmouth and Warkworth are straight up the A1. For a longer trip, Hadrian's Wall is under an hour west. Newcastle is about twenty minutes south by car or train.
The cottage has a washing machine, WiFi, and bedding is included. No pets, I'm afraid. It's got Christmas decorations stored there too, so it feels a bit festive if you're booking over that period.
