Drovers is in Morpeth. It's a Victorian terraced house built in 1890, and it's stayed in the same family all that time. So it's got original features, but the kitchen and bathroom are modern. It sleeps three people in two bedrooms. There's a downstairs toilet as well as the main bathroom upstairs.
It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's well looked after, comfortable, and has everything you need. You can park on the street outside, which is free. The garden is enclosed, if that matters.
You're right in the town. The main shops are a few minutes' walk away. There's a pub and a restaurant about 350 yards from the door. Morpeth station is handy if you don't want to drive. You can get a direct train to Newcastle, or to Alnmouth for the coast.
For history, you're in a good spot. Hadrian's Wall is about a half hour drive. The coast is under half an hour away too, so you can get to places like Alnmouth Beach or Craster. Bamburgh Castle is about 40 minutes by car.
If you like big houses and gardens, Wallington is nearby and Cragside is about 40 minutes away. For a different sort of day out, you can drive to the coast at Seahouses and get a boat to the Farne Islands to see the seabirds.
In terms of what's here: there's a washing machine, WiFi, a TV, and bedding and towels are included. The entrance is step-free, so it's wheelchair accessible. No pets.
