Granary Cottage
This is Granary Cottage. It’s on Peigh Hills Farm in Earsdon, near Morpeth. I live on the farm too, with the horses.
The cottage sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. It’s got a 3 Star rating, so it’s comfortable and clean. There’s a living room and then a conservatory at the back you can eat in. It gets the sun.
The property next door, Barley Mill, is identical. You can book them together if you need more space.
The entrance and the ground floor are wheelchair accessible. There’s parking right outside.
There’s a pub about a mile away that does food. The nearest shop is in Morpeth, about six miles. Morpeth has a train station too, if you want to go into Newcastle or up to Edinburgh.
You’re about six miles from Druridge Bay and the beach there. Good for a walk. The nature reserve is there as well. If you head north, Alnwick with its castle is about a half hour drive. Rothbury and the Simonside hills are about the same distance the other way.
In terms of stuff here: there’s a washing machine, dishwasher, wifi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair. There’s bicycle storage if you bring bikes. No pets, I’m afraid.
