Ad Gefrin is in Acklington. It's a semi-detached stone cottage on a small estate. The back looks out over fields.
It sleeps eight people. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's well-equipped and comfortable. The kitchen is modern and has a small table. There's a big open-plan living area.
The patio garden is south-facing, so it gets the sun in the afternoon. You can sit out there and look at the fields.
There's a village pub about five minutes' walk away. They do food. For ice cream, there's a good dairy farm about a mile down the lane.
Amble is two miles away. It's a small harbour town with shops and cafes. Warkworth is about three miles. It's got a castle up on the hill and some nice riverside walks. The castle is English Heritage.
You're close to the coast here. Druridge Bay is a few minutes' drive, it's miles of sand. For walking, you've got the Northumberland Coast or you can drive inland to the North York Moors National Park. Both are within half an hour.
Further up the coast, places like Bamburgh and Holy Island are about an hour's drive.
Facilities: there's parking, WiFi, a washing machine, a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog. There's a highchair if you need it.
