Ad Gefrin

Ad Gefrin is in Acklington. It's a quiet village. The house is semi-detached, part of a small modern development. It looks out over fields at the back.

It sleeps eight, in four bedrooms. Two of those bedrooms have Hypnos mattresses. There are two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's well-equipped and comfortable.

The garden has a patio. It's south-facing, so you get the sun. There's parking.

It's a practical house. The living space is open-plan. The kitchen is modern, with a dishwasher and a washing machine. We include bedding and towels. You can bring one dog.

The village pub is a few minutes' walk away. There's an ice cream farm about a mile away down the lane. The coast is close. Amble is a small seaside town with a harbour and places to eat. Warkworth has a good castle and a nice walk by the river. I'd recommend the English Heritage site for Warkworth Castle if you want details.

You're in a good spot for seeing this part of Northumberland. The beaches are about ten minutes by car. Alnwick Castle and its gardens are about half an hour's drive north. For a longer day out, you can get to Bamburgh Castle, Holy Island, or into the Northumberland National Park within an hour.

Facilities are listed, but to highlight: there's WiFi, a BBQ, bike storage, a highchair, and parking.
