Oake Cottage is in Warkworth, which is a small village near the coast. It's a stone cottage, second from the end of a small terrace. It's quiet and private, right near the river.
It sleeps four people in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's a 3 Star place, so it's comfortable and clean. The stairs are normal but they're a typical cottage size, so watch your head.
There's a pub and a shop about five minutes' walk away. They're good. You can walk along the river from the doorstep and you'll come to them and a few little shops. The sandy beach is less than a mile away.
Warkworth Castle is a nice walk from the cottage. It's open all year. Boat trips for fishing or seeing seabirds go from Amble, which is just next door. Alnwick with its castle and gardens is about a ten minute drive.
Things here: it has a wood burner, a washing machine, WiFi, a TV, and a shower. Bedding and towels are included. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
