Kiwi Corner
Kiwi Corner is a semi-detached house in Amble. It's on the main road into town, but set back a bit. The decoration was done up a few years ago, so it's fresh and clean. It sleeps four, with two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The layout is all on one floor, which is good if stairs are a problem. There's a walk-in shower in the bathroom. You can bring one dog. It has a washing machine and a dishwasher. There's also a cot and a highchair if you need them.
There's a pub about fifty yards away. A shop is a couple of minutes walk. The harbour and the little beach are about a ten minute walk. The Sunday market on the harbour is nice. Good for a coffee and a stroll.
You're right on the coast road here. If you turn left out of the drive, you can follow it north up to places like Craster, for kippers, and Bamburgh. Alnwick Castle and Gardens are about a fifteen minute drive inland. Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty has good information for walks.
For a bigger day out, you can get to the Northumberland National Park in under half an hour. That's where the Dark Sky Park is. Hadrian's Wall is about an hour's drive southwest.
