Garden House

This is Garden House in Alnmouth. It's on the edge of the village. The layout is a bit different, it's reverse level. The living room and kitchen are upstairs to get the light and the views. The main bedroom is on the ground floor, and there are two more bedrooms downstairs.

It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. One bathroom has a shower, the other has a bath and shower. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well equipped and comfortable.

Because the living area is upstairs, the garden is on a split level. There's a patio right outside the French doors, then some steps go up to a bit of lawn. You can sit out there. There's also parking.

There's an annex attached to the house. It might be occupied by other guests during your stay, but it has its own separate entrance.

Alnmouth village is a few minutes walk away. There's a couple of pubs, a few shops, and a good golf course. The beach is right there. It's a long, sandy beach that goes on for miles.

Alnwick is about four miles inland. You can drive, cycle, or walk it along the river. Alnwick Castle is there, and Barter Books in the old railway station is worth a visit. Further up the coast, Seahouses is about a half hour drive. You can get boat trips out to the Farne Islands from there.

Facilities wise: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, woodburning stove, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog. There's a highchair if you need it.
