Garden House

Garden House is in Alnmouth. It's one of a pair of cottages, attached to another one called the annex. That might be rented out separately while you're there. You get your own garden and parking.

It sleeps six in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. One is en-suite to the main bedroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The layout is a bit unusual. The kitchen and living room are upstairs. The main bedroom is on the ground floor. There's another bedroom downstairs and one more up a second flight of stairs. The stairs are normal, just pointing that out so you know where things are.

You're a few minutes' walk from the beach in Alnmouth. It's a quiet village with a couple of pubs, some shops, and a golf course. The beach is good for walking. It's sandy and the dunes are nice.

Alnwick is about four miles away. That's where Alnwick Castle and the big bookshop, Barter Books, are. The castle is worth a visit. Alnwick Castle.

Further up the coast, Seahouses is about a half hour drive. You can get boat trips from there to the Farne Islands to see the seabirds and seals. The Farne Islands are run by the National Trust.

For facilities, it has a washing machine, dishwasher, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a wood burner and a BBQ. You can bring one dog. There's a highchair if you need it.
