This is Number 1. It's a Georgian house in the middle of Alnwick. It's part of a row, right in the conservation area. You get a small, enclosed garden out the back.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. There's a wood burner in the living room. The kitchen has what you need. The dining room is separate, at the back.
The stairs are fairly steep. It's an old house, so you'll notice the steps.
The town centre is a couple of minutes' walk. There are pubs, restaurants, and shops about 300 yards away. Alnwick Castle is very close, maybe a five minute walk. If you want the coast, Alnmouth beach is about four miles east. It's a nice drive. Seahouses is about twenty minutes north. You can get boat trips from there out to the Farne Islands to see the birds and seals. National Trust Farne Islands. Bamburgh Castle is a bit further up the coast.
For walks, you're not far from the Northumberland National Park or the coast path. Northumberland National Park and Northumberland Coast AONB.
