Turnstone Malthouse
This is Turnstone Malthouse in Alnwick. It's a first floor apartment in an old converted malthouse building. There's character from the old building, but inside it's all modern.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. Both have king size beds. There are two bathrooms as well, which is handy. You can use the stairs up to the flat or there's a lift if you prefer.
The place is open plan. You come in, and straight ahead is the kitchen and living area all in one room. It's a good size. The kitchen has what you need. The sofas are there for when you get back in.
You're right in the middle of town. Shops, pubs, and places to eat are a couple of minutes' walk. Alnwick Castle is the big attraction here. It's a proper castle and they used it for some Harry Potter filming. The Alnwick Garden is next to it, with the big water cascade and that treehouse restaurant.
For the coast, Alnmouth village is about ten minutes drive east. Nice beach there. Head west and you're into the countryside around Rothbury and the Simonside Hills in about twenty minutes.
Facilities are all there: parking, WiFi, a washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. No pets allowed.
