Twizell Cottage
Twizell Cottage is in Alnwick. It's an end-of-terrace place on a quiet back street. You get a private parking spot right next to it.
It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. One has a king-size bed, the other has twins. One bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable. The underfloor heating in the bathroom is good.
Downstairs is open plan. Living area at the front, kitchen and dining table at the back. It’s got Netflix on the TV. The Wi-Fi works.
There’s a shop, a pub, and restaurants about five minutes' walk away. Swansfield Park is just along the Avenue if you need somewhere to walk the dog.
Alnwick Castle is very close. They used it for Hogwarts in the Harry Potter films. Alnwick Castle. The Gardens are next to it and are worth a visit. The Alnwick Garden.
The coast is about five miles east. You’ve got Alnmouth beach, then up towards Bamburgh and Seahouses. The Northumberland Coast is all beaches and castles. Craster for kippers is about a fifteen minute drive. Bamburgh Castle is about half an hour.
For things further out, there’s horse riding locally. A golf course is nearby. You can get to most of the big Northumberland sites within an hour. Holy Island, the Cheviot hills.
Bedding and towels are included. There’s a washing machine. The place accepts one dog.
