Breezes Cottage is in Longhoughton village. It's a two bedroom place that sleeps four. There are two bathrooms, which is handy. It's got a 5 Star rating, so it's well kept and comfortable.
The cottage is detached with its own garden. It's enclosed, so it's fine for dogs. You can bring up to two. There's parking on the drive.
Inside, it's all on the ground floor which is good for accessibility. There's underfloor heating and a wood burner for cooler nights. It has a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. All bedding and towels are provided.
The village has a Co-op for groceries. There's a coffee shop opposite called Company B, they do good breakfasts and lunches. The Running Fox café, a short walk the other way, is dog friendly and has nice food.
You're about a mile from the coast. The nearest beach is Sugar Sands Bay. It's a quiet little cove with a view of Dunstanburgh Castle. For a bigger beach, Bamburgh is about a twenty minute drive north.
Alnwick is four miles away. That's where Alnwick Castle and the Alnwick Garden are. The garden has the big treehouse restaurant. It's a proper day out. Warkworth and its castle are about a fifteen minute drive south.
Craster is maybe ten minutes up the coast. You can walk from there along the coast to Dunstanburgh Castle. The Northumberland Coast Path runs right past there too. Further on, you've got Bamburgh Castle and Holy Island, which is about half an hour's drive but you must check the tide times for the crossing.
