Seascape is one of two cottages at Proctors Stead Farm, near Dunstan. It's less than a mile from the coast at Craster.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, all doubles, and one bathroom upstairs. There's a cloakroom downstairs too. It's a 4 Star place, so it's well looked after and comfortable. The living room has a wood burner. The kitchen is a decent size for a cottage.
You look out over farmland towards the sea. You can see Dunstanburgh Castle from the upstairs windows. It's a quiet spot.
Craster village is under a mile away. They're famous for kippers. The Jolly Fisherman pub there does food. Embleton beach is a couple of miles north, it's a good sandy one. The wider coast here is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Seahouses is about four miles up the coast. You can get boat trips from there out to the Farne Islands to see the seals and birds. Bamburgh, with its castle, is a bit further on.
Alnwick is seven miles inland. The castle is worth a visit, and so are the Alnwick Gardens.
Facilities wise: you've got the wood burner, a dishwasher, washing machine, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking, a garden, and a bike store. We can provide a cot and highchair. No pets, sorry.
