Honeysuckle Cottage is in Doxford, Northumberland. It's one of three stone cottages in a row on a quiet road. You look out over fields.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's a 3 Star place, so it's comfortable and clean, not luxurious. You can bring up to two dogs.
The garden is enclosed, which is good for the dogs. There's a wood burner in the sitting room. It has all the things you'd expect, WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included.
You can walk on the owner's farmland next door. The coast is very close. The beaches up here are long and usually empty. Embleton Bay is about three miles away.
Craster is a short drive south. They smoke kippers there. From Craster, you can walk along the coast to Dunstanburgh Castle. It's a good ruin. Seahouses is about ten minutes north. That's where you get boats out to the Farne Islands to see the puffins and seals.
Alnwick is inland. The castle is there, and the Alnwick Garden. Alnmouth is a village on the estuary with a nice beach.
