My house in Beadnell is called Skal. It's a stone cottage on the main street through the village. You can walk to pretty much everything from here.
It's two floors and sleeps six. Three bedrooms, all doubles. Two bathrooms, one is an en-suite in the main bedroom. That one's upstairs. There's another bathroom with a shower downstairs.
The kitchen is modern and has what you need, including a dishwasher. The lounge has big glass doors that open into a little sun room at the back. It's a bright spot to sit. The main bedroom has its own small, enclosed roof terrace. You get a view of the sea from there.
The back has a patio garden. It's enclosed and gets the sun.
Beadnell itself is quiet. There's a village shop and a couple of pubs that do food, all a few minutes' walk away. The bay is about a twenty minute walk from the house. It's a sandy beach and people go windsurfing and sailing there. The main beach is much bigger and runs all the way to Seahouses.
Seahouses is two miles north. That's where you get the boats out to the Farne Islands to see the seabirds and seals. They run from the harbour there. Bamburgh is another three miles up the coast. The castle is hard to miss.
Further afield, Alnwick is about half an hour's drive inland. The castle and the Alnwick Garden are there. Holy Island is also nearby, but you have to check the tide times for the crossing.
For parking, there's a space on site. You can bring one well-behaved dog. Bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine, wifi, and bike storage.
