Little Tern is a bungalow in Beadnell. It’s detached. Everything’s on one floor, which is handy. It sleeps four in two double rooms. It’s a 3 Star place, so it’s clean and comfortable. There’s one bathroom with a shower.
It’s on a normal street in the village. The garden is enclosed so dogs can’t get out. Speaking of which, you can bring two dogs, but there’s an extra charge for that.
You can walk to the beach in a few minutes. It's a mix of sand and rock pools at first, then opens out. The main beach is huge when the tide’s out. Seahouses is a couple of miles up the coast. They do boat trips to the Farne Islands from there.
The village shop and a couple of pubs are a two-minute walk away. They do food. It’s useful.
Fire’s electric, but it looks like a wood burner. There’s a dishwasher and a washing machine. WiFi is fine for browsing. Parking is on the drive.
If you want to explore, Bamburgh Castle is about ten minutes’ drive north. Alnwick Castle and the gardens are about twenty minutes inland. You can find more about the area on the Northumberland National Park and National Trust North East sites.
