Pebble Cottage is in the middle of Seahouses. It's a terraced stone cottage, recently done up. It's about a five minute walk to the harbour.
It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well equipped. The main thing is the wood burning stove in the living room. It makes the place very cosy in the evenings.
The back garden is enclosed, so it’s secure for dogs or kids. You can bring up to two dogs. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher.
Seahouses itself has what you need. A few shops, pubs that do food, cafes. The main reason people come is for the boat trips from the harbour out to the Farne Islands. It's a must for seeing the puffins and seals.
For a bigger beach, Bamburgh is just a couple of miles up the road. The castle there is spectacular. Bamburgh Castle is worth a visit. Alnwick Castle and its gardens are about a twenty minute drive south.
The coast path is right there for walking. If you golf, there's a course on the edge of the village.
Facilities are all included: WiFi, a cot, a highchair, bedding. There's parking for one car on the street outside.
