Good Tides

Good Tides is an end-terrace house in Beadnell, on a modern cul-de-sac. It's a five-star property, which means it's well looked after and comfortable. It sleeps six, with three bedrooms upstairs and two bathrooms. The main bedroom has an en-suite shower room and a walk-in wardrobe. You can see a sliver of the sea from its window.

The living room has patio doors that open to the garden. It's fully enclosed, which is good if you have kids or a dog. The garden gets the sun in the afternoon. There's a barbecue out there.

The beach is about a five-minute walk away. It's a proper sandy beach, good for swimming. People go kite surfing and kayaking there. The village has a couple of pubs that do food.

Seahouses is two miles up the road. That's where the boats leave for the Farne Islands. You can go and see the puffins and seals. Bamburgh, with its castle, is about three miles further. Alnwick Castle is a twenty-minute drive inland.

Inside, it's got everything you'd expect. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking for one car on the drive.

For more about the area, the Northumberland Coast AONB site has good information, and the National Trust looks after a lot of the coastline and castles nearby.
