Good Tides

Good Tides is a house in Beadnell on the Northumberland coast. It's an end-of-terrace on a quiet modern cul-de-sac.

Sleeps six. Three bedrooms upstairs, all doubles. Two bathrooms, one is an en-suite to the main bedroom. That one has a walk-in wardrobe and you can see a sliver of the sea from the window if the weather's clear. There's a proper shower in there.

The stairs are fine. The living room has patio doors out to the garden. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you've got kids or a dog. No pets allowed here though, sorry.

The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine. There's a dining table in there. Towels and bedding are included. There's a TV and WiFi. Parking is on the drive.

You can walk to Beadnell Bay beach in about ten minutes. It's a sandy beach, good for swimming if you don't mind the North Sea. People go kayaking and kite surfing there.

Seahouses is a couple of miles down the road. That's where the boats go out to the Farne Islands. You can see puffins and seals. Bamburgh is about three miles further on. The castle is worth a look. Alnwick is inland, maybe a twenty minute drive. The castle and gardens there are good for a day out.
