The Ranch
The Ranch is a bungalow in Bamburgh. It's detached. You can see the sand dunes from the front, and if you stand in the garden you get a view of the castle. It's a short walk to the beach from here.
It sleeps five. There are two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's a bungalow, so all the rooms are on one level. That's good if you don't fancy stairs. The shower is over the bath.
The garden is yours to use. There's parking on the drive for one car. It has a washing machine, and all the bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
Bamburgh itself is small. You can walk to the village in the evening. There are a couple of pubs that do food, and some tea rooms. The beach is the main thing, really. It's huge, with the castle on the cliff. It's good for a long walk.
Seahouses is a few minutes' drive north. That's where you get the boats out to the Farne Islands. They go out most days in season. You'll see lots of birds, and there are usually seals around.
Heading south, Alnwick is about twenty minutes away. Alnwick Castle is there if that's your kind of thing. The golf club at Bamburgh is very close. If you want to walk, you're on the coast path. For a longer trip, you can get to Northumberland National Park or parts of Hadrian's Wall within half an hour or so.
That's about it. It's a simple place, good for being by the beach.
