The Ranch
The Ranch is a bungalow in Bamburgh. It's detached, so no one next door. The garden looks out over the dunes towards the castle. You can see it from out there.
It sleeps five. There are two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable. Everything you need is there, like a washing machine and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included.
You can bring up to two dogs. The garden is enclosed, which helps.
The beach is just a short walk away. It's a proper good beach, wide and sandy. The castle is right there on the rock. It's a good walk up to it. The village has pubs and a couple of places for tea. You can walk to them in the evening.
Seahouses is about ten minutes by car. That's where you get the boat trips out to the Farne Islands. You'll see loads of birds. Sometimes seals too.
If you want a bigger town, Alnwick is about twenty minutes south. The castle there is famous. Berwick-upon-Tweed is half an hour north. It's an old walled town.
For walking, you're on the Northumberland Coast Path. Inland, you've got Northumberland National Park and Hadrian's Wall, both within a 30 minute drive.
That's about it. It's a straightforward place in a very good spot.
