Northwinds is in Seahouses, just at the edge of town. You're on the north side. It means it's a bit quieter here, but you can walk into the harbour in about 15 minutes. The front of the house looks out over fields towards Bamburgh Castle. You can see the sea from the upstairs windows.
It sleeps six, in four bedrooms. There's one bathroom, upstairs with the bedrooms. It was all done up a few years ago, so it's in good order. The kitchen is fine, everything works. Downstairs there's the main living room at the front, and a smaller second room at the back with another sofa and a table. Good for kids or if someone wants a bit of quiet.
The garden is enclosed, with a patio and a swing seat. There's parking on the drive.
The beach is just down the lane, maybe a two minute walk. It's sandy and goes for miles. Seahouses itself has what you need: shops, pubs, places to eat. The harbour is where the boats go out to the Farne Islands. You'll see puffins and seals. Sometimes dolphins follow the boat.
Bamburgh is two miles up the road. The castle is huge. Beadnell Bay is a few miles the other way, good for windsurfing. Alnwick, with its castle and gardens, is about a 20 minute drive inland.
What's here: washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. No pets.
For planning: Northumberland Coast AONB, and the National Trust looks after a lot of the coast and castles round here.
