The Coracle is in Seahouses, on the old street down near the harbour. It's an end terrace cottage, so you've got neighbours one side. It's painted white like most of them here.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom. It's a 3 Star place, which is about right. It's clean and everything works, but it's not a show home. The stairs are fairly steep, just so you know. There's a woodburner in the front room, which is good for taking the chill off. The wi-fi works fine.
You're about a five minute walk from the harbour. That's where the boat trips to the Farne Islands leave from. You can see the puffins and seals. It's worth booking. The beach here is mostly sand and rock pools, but if you want a long, wide beach, Bamburgh is about ten minutes in the car. The castle looks great from there.
There's a shop up the hill, and a couple of pubs are close by. They do food. For a bigger shop, Alnwick is about twenty minutes drive. That's where the castle and the Alnwick Garden are.
Bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher. You can bring two dogs. There's no proper garden, but there's a small yard out the back with a gate.
If you're planning trips, the National Trust Northumberland Coast site has good walking maps. For the Farne Islands boats, check the Northumberland Coast website for the different operators.
