Sea Breeze
Sea Breeze is in Beadnell, on the coast. It's a simple end-terrace cottage in a little cul-de-sac. The main thing is it's only a couple of minutes' walk from the beach. You go down a short path and you're there.
It sleeps four. There are two bedrooms, both double rooms, and each has its own bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's clean and works fine, but not fancy.
There's an enclosed garden out the back, which is handy if you bring a dog. We allow one well-behaved pet. Inside, it's all open-plan downstairs. The stairs are standard, nothing too tricky.
Beadnell has a shop and two pubs, all within walking distance. The pubs are family-friendly and do food. For a proper day out with boat trips, Seahouses is two miles up the road. You can get trips out to the Farne Islands from there, which is good for seeing seals and puffins.
Bamburgh is three miles north. The castle is the big draw there, and the beach is huge. Further inland, Alnwick is worth a visit for the castle and the gardens. The Alnwick Garden is quite something if you like that sort of thing.
In terms of things here, you've got a washing machine, parking for one car right outside, WiFi, and the bedding and towels are provided.
