Northern Hideaways Ellingham
This is Northern Hideaways Ellingham. It's on the Ellingham Hall Estate, so you're in the grounds basically. It's a stone cottage.
It sleeps four, with two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating. That means it's been done up well inside, it's comfortable. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you've got dogs or kids. There's parking right by the cottage.
Inside, there's a wood burning stove, a dishwasher, a washing machine, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair.
Outside, you can see the Hall from some of the windows. The estate gardens are really something. There's a kids' play area with a treehouse just a short walk away.
The local pub is about a ten minute walk. It serves food. For a shop, you'd need to drive to Seahouses, which is about a 15 minute drive. Seahouses has a supermarket and places to eat. It's also where you get the boat trips out to the Farne Islands.
The beach at Bamburgh is a short drive away, maybe ten minutes. Bamburgh Castle is there too. Alnwick Castle is about a 25 minute drive. There's a golf course nearby if that's your thing.
You can take up to two dogs. There's horse riding and fishing locally if you want to organise that.
