Little Barn Tynely Farm
Little Barn Tynely Farm is in Brownieside. It's a detached, single-storey stone barn we converted. It's for two people.
The main room is open plan. Kitchen at one end, sitting area at the other. Patio doors open straight onto a private gravel patio area with a table and chairs. The view from there is across farmland. It's very quiet.
There's one bedroom with a double bed and one bathroom with a walk-in shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. Everything is clean and works. The water pressure is good.
You're about four miles from the coast. Embleton Beach is the closest, good for long walks. Beadnell Bay is about five miles, that's where people go for windsurfing. Seahouses is a bit further, maybe seven miles. That's where you get the boat trips out to the Farne Islands. You can book those at the harbour.
Bamburgh is ten miles north. The castle is hard to miss. Holy Island is visible from the beach there, but check the tide times if you plan to drive across.
Alnwick is about seven miles inland. It's a proper market town with supermarkets. Alnwick Castle and the gardens are there. Worth a look.
Facilities: there's a dishwasher, WiFi, TV, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. No pets.
