Little Barn Tynely Farm is in Brownieside, just off the A1. It's a small detached barn conversion for two people, one bedroom and one bathroom. I've kept it as a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and everything works, but it's not enormous.
The main thing is the view. The patio doors look straight out over farmland, miles and miles of it. It's quiet. You get the garden to yourselves.
The coast is about four miles east. Embleton beach is good for a walk. Seahouses is a bit further, maybe six miles. That's where you get boat trips out to the Farne Islands. Bamburgh Castle is about ten minutes up the road from there.
Alnwick is fifteen minutes inland. The castle and gardens are there if that's your thing. For a bigger day out, you can get to the edge of the Scottish Borders in under an hour.
Facilities are what you'd expect. There's a dishwasher, WiFi, TV, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. The shower is modern. No pets, sorry.
