Etive Cottage is a bungalow in Warenford, Northumberland. It's detached, so no one's on the other side of the wall. You park off the road behind electric gates, which is useful.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. Everything's on the ground floor. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable, not fussy.
The garden is enclosed. The owner really likes dogs, so you can bring up to four. That's the main thing about the place, really.
You're right by the A1. It's handy for getting about, but you'll hear the road. The pub is a five minute walk down the lane. They do food.
For the coast, it's about a ten minute drive. Bamburgh Castle is about twenty minutes away. Holy Island is a bit further, maybe half an hour, but you have to check the tide times. The Farne Islands are great for puffins, you get the boats from Seahouses.
Alnwick is fifteen minutes south. The castle and gardens are there. Berwick-upon-Tweed is twenty minutes north. It's a proper border town.
Inside, there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right there.
